Summer Gatherings

A Community-Led Fletcher Tradition

Each summer, Fletcher alumni across the Washington, DC region organize informal gatherings to reconnect with classmates, expand their networks, and welcome new members of the community.

Rather than a single large event, Summer Gatherings encourage alumni to create small, casual meetups that fit their schedules and interests. Whether it’s a happy hour, coffee, brunch, dinner, or dessert, the goal is simple: bring Fletcher alumni together.

How It Works

1. Invite Fellow Alumni

Reach out to classmates, colleagues, or other Fletcher alumni in your area. Gatherings can be as small as a few people or as large as you’d like.

2. Choose a Venue

Select a location that works for your group—a coffee shop, restaurant, rooftop, park, or favorite neighborhood gathering spot.

3. Connect and Reconnect

Meet on or around June 13 and enjoy an opportunity to strengthen personal and professional connections within the Fletcher community.

4. Share Your Experience

If you’d like, post photos and highlights in the Fletcher DC Alumni Club’s LinkedIn or Facebook groups so the broader community can celebrate with you.

Summer Gatherings are community-led and are not formally organized, sponsored, or hosted by the Fletcher DC Alumni Club. The club simply designates a shared weekend each summer to encourage alumni to connect in ways that best fit their schedules, locations, and interests.
